Pre-Production

Recording
Create and capture the sounds of your music!
Lay down all the instruments and vocals in your song. I would always go with the "emotional" over the "Accurate" take.
Polishing
Editing all of the raw recorded material. Comping, tuning, time warping/ aligning, and post-editing.All of the tracks need to be synced together to sound solid.
Mix & Master
Final touch-ups that make it all sound better and aligned with the final vision.
Make the whole song sound balanced, tight, focused, and exciting!

Through the entire process, we'll work towards understanding the music industry, and specifically, your unique niche and brand.

Hey. I'm Amit
I’m a music producer, songwriter, and mix engineer out of Seattle, WA.
Thanks for being here.
My story with music started as a passionate musician.
I played in bands, wrote music, performed, and tried to build a career in music as an artist.
Pretty quickly, I learned I’m not a performer.
I’m a technical, detail-driven creative who enjoys shaping sounds way more than being in the spotlight myself.
So I went to college to study audio engineering, music theory, and production, after graduation I started working in a world-class recording studio where so many of the albums I grew up on were recorded there. It felt like a dream.
As a studio engineer, my job was to set up mics, levels, the software, console. Basically, have everything ready to record.
By doing that, I saw something over and over:
artists spending a lot of money on studio time without knowing how to maximize that experience.
They’d jam, record a bunch of demos, have fun… but not really move closer to their goal of making great music consistently.
That’s when it clicked for me: I needed to become a producer.
I wanted to use both my creative and technical sides to help artists find a "Better-way" to make the music they’re meant to share, with the quality it deserves, and in a sustainable way that actually moves their career forward.
Since then, I’ve been producing and developing singer-songwriters, music independent artists, bands, and musicians.
My focus is always the same: help them build momentum, stay authentic, and leave an impact with their music.
The industry has changed. The way we create music has changed. And I really believe there’s a better, more sustainable way to make the art you want to make.

In my career, I’ve seen indie artists make many mistakes…
From dropping thousands of dollars on multi-million-dollar commercial studios to ending up with no actual results
Working with producers who are not in line with their vision, turning their music into something else completely
Trying to DIY and ending up stuck with no real progress/ shelving a song/ burning out/ and even quitting music
Starting strong, but quickly waste all their money on stuff that don't work and getting stuck with no results and momentum
Talented artists, just sitting around, waiting to get discovered by a label/ manager/ A&R/ etc…
Burning time & money on a fancy music school, hoping for guidance,
ending up graduating with a worthless diploma, and back to square one.

Q. What if I only need recording/ mixing/ editing services, and not full production?
I do offer different packages for different scenarios.
The best option is to chat and understand what your needs are, and how I can help.
Q. What types of artists do you typically work with?
The type who wants to get results and drive their music career forward.
My production style ranges between various genres.

Q. Why shouldn't I just do this all by myself?
You can, and if it’s working for you, then you should!
I found that when you outsource certain steps in your process, it gives you more than you hope.
It frees up your time to focus on what you do best.
I believe everyone can do anything. The question you need to ask is,
Do I have the time, money, and effort to invest in this skill to get to a good enough level that can take my songs to the next level?
If the answer is yes, awesome. Do that.
If it’s no, let’s talk :)
Q. How do you handle revisions?
Obviously, I want you to be as happy as you can be with the final results,
so I offer endless revisions (within a reasonable window of time) until we get it just right.
Q. What if I don’t have the budget for this?
I totally understand that investing in yourself is always scary and uncomfortable.
I offer different options depending on your needs and budget.
We can prioritize what will have the biggest positive impact on your music, and start there.
